To utter the words "my holidays were so busy" is unnecessary, right? They are a whirlwind, that anyone who associates fun and family with food, totally understands.
My only sadness is that when I get busy eating, I am often, not busy photographing. So, here are what few photos I took, of the many plates of delicious food we prepared and consumed.
Turkey Day. As we put the bird in the oven, insanity had yet to ensue. I wasn't too busy, or two many glasses in, to forget to snap a pic of our glorious bird. Alas, I snapped only one other photo the entire meal - the bird as it rested out of the oven. No green beans, no potatoes, nada. Next year.
Our 1st Christmas Tamale Making Party. We rolled these puppies till we thought we'd drop. Many mistakes (including estimated cooking time) were made. By the time these little parcels of goodness were complete, I was too weak to take photos. Trust me, they were bueno.
I didn't even get to the two kinds of lasagna we had for Christmas dinner, we were too crazed entertaining whilst planning for a trip to NYC the next day (into one of the city's record blizzards.) But that's another story...
