Boulettes Larder

Boulettes Larder

Ferry Building, San Francisco, CA

The first time I walked into this place, I happened to be sick as a dog. But for a few brief, blissful moments, I forgot all about it. I wanted to live there! Boulettes is a working kitchen and the majority of their business, I believe, is prepared food to take home.
Whatever the case, this place felt, to me, like heaven on earth. The smells, the sites, the low hum of chefs conversing as they saute, slice, dice, bake...all of it was perfection.
They have a large communal table inside that seats 10 and then a smattering of tables outside. They serve only lunch and dinner.
I had wanted to eat there ever since that first day I walked into the place - but it took three more trips to the city until it finally happened.
I was SO excited....
